The Edo State Welders Association T(ESWA) is at the forefront of driving technical excellence in the welding industry by equipping young talents with critical welding skills. In collaboration with the World Bank, ESWA is committed to fostering skill development that empowers the youth, prepares them for the workforce, and boosts the local economy.
Through the World Bank’s support, ESWA has embarked on a series of impactful training programmes designed to bridge the skill gap in the welding sector. Hundreds of students have received specialised training in modern welding techniques, safety practices, and equipment handling, ensuring they meet global
industry standards. These students, drawn from diverse backgrounds, now possess the knowledge and competence to excel in various sectors including construction, manufacturing, and engineering.
