Sir Comrade Peter Osagie Oghuma is a distinguished leader and an accomplished professional in the welding industry, currently serving as the President of the Edo State Welders Association (ESWA). With a passion for craftsmanship and a deep commitment to uplifting the welding community, Sir Comrade Oghuma brings both technical expertise and visionary leadership to his role.

His journey into the world of welding began on July 8th, 1995, when he commenced training as a welder and blacksmith at LAWRINCO INDUSTRIAL WELDING WORKS. This hands-on experience laid the foundation for his profound knowledge of the craft. After completing his training on July 8th, 1998, Sir Comrade Oghuma’s ambition to master his profession led him to further his education at the Petroleum Training Institute (PTI). There, he specialised in welding and fabrication, graduating with Upper Credit on November 12th, 2007—a testament to his dedication and commitment to excellence.

Sir Comrade Oghuma’s expertise extends beyond traditional welding. He is the founder of Otec Multiconcepts Limited, a company that has gained a reputation for high-quality welding and fabrication services, as well as interior designs. His business also specialises in the sales of oxygen gas, which serves both industrial and medical needs. Through Otec Multiconcepts, he has contributed significantly to Edo State’s industrial landscape, employing skilled workers and promoting innovation within the welding sector.

As the President of ESWA, Sir Comrade Peter Osagie Oghuma has been a driving force behind the association’s efforts to provide opportunities for skill development, advocate for the rights of welders, and foster industrial growth in Edo State. His leadership is marked by his focus on advancing modern welding techniques while honouring the traditional craftsmanship that defines the industry.
